Polygem LCR Concrete Crack Repair Kit: Complete Epoxy Injection Kit

A complete epoxy injection kit for DIY foundation crack repair. It's made by Polygem and sold by CBG SOURCING, an authorized Polygem distributor. It goes further than a surface concrete crack filler: the paste mounts the ports and seals the crack surface, and the low-viscosity resin bonds the crack from the inside. It's for dry, non-actively leaking cracks in poured concrete walls and slabs.

Our kit has an updated package look, and it now includes 3 pairs of disposable nitrile gloves and 2 putty knives, each 1-1/2 in (38 mm) wide. The rest of the kit is unchanged.

At a Glance

  • Best for: concrete cracks above .005" (0.13 mm) in basement foundations and other concrete. Engineered for cracks about 1/16 in (1.6 mm) to 1/8 in (3.2 mm) wide.
  • Orientation: vertical foundation walls (ports mounted with the included paste) and horizontal slabs.
  • Surface: clean and dry. Do not install the paste on damp or wet surfaces.
  • Skill level: DIY. Everything except a standard caulking gun and basic tools and safety gear is in the box.

Coverage

  • Complete kit (2 cartridges): up to 8 linear ft (2.4 m) of a 1/16 in (1.6 mm) crack, which suits a typical 8 ft (2.4 m) basement wall crack, or up to 4 linear ft (1.2 m) of a 1/8 in (3.2 mm) crack.
  • Single 10 fl oz (296 mL) cartridge: about 4 ft (1.2 m) of a 1/16 in crack or 2 ft (0.6 m) of a 1/8 in crack, in a standard 6 in (152 mm) thick wall.
  • Wider cracks, thicker walls, or unseen internal voids need more resin.

What's Included

  • 2 × 10 fl oz (296 mL) Polygem LCR injection resin cartridges (Part A + Part B)
  • 1 Polygem LCR Epoxy Repair Paste set: 1 lb (454 g) Part A + 1 lb (454 g) Part B
  • 7 white surface injection ports with caps (about 1-1/2 in (39 mm) tall, 1-1/8 in (29 mm) four-hole base)
  • 1 mixing plunger and 1 injection nozzle per cartridge (2 sets)
  • 3 pairs of disposable nitrile gloves
  • 2 putty knives, each 1-1/2 in (38 mm) wide
  • 6 wooden mixing sticks
  • Step-by-step instructions

Not included (required): standard caulking gun (not sold on CBGSourcing.com). Also bring: safety glasses or goggles, a floor or drop cover, tape measure, pencil or marker, wire brush, vacuum, compressed air, and other PPE as the SDS directs.

How It Works

  • Ports: the first port goes 6 in (152 mm) from the floor, then no more than 12 in (305 mm) apart, with a paste band at least 2 in (51 mm) wide centered on the crack.
  • Let the ports tack up for 30–90 minutes (depending on room temperature) before sealing the crack line. Inject each mixed cartridge within 30 minutes.
  • After 48 hours of resin cure, remove the ports with a pallet knife and hammer or an oscillating multi-tool.
